Dr. Christopher Woollam, MD Diploma Sport and Exercise Medicine
Dr. Woollam is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Medical School. He has practiced sport medicine for two decades. Besides general sport injuries, he has a special interest in hip problems in young dancers and yoga practitioners, osteoarthritis of the knee, as well as, concussion in athletes.
A certified sport physician with the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM ), Dr. Woollam has been team physician to the AHL, OHL and the NBL (Mississauga Power), and Medical Director of the Mississauga Marathon and Oakville Half Marathon.
Dr Woollam teaches sport medicine to family medicine residents at the University of Toronto, and offers an MSK (musculoskeletal) tutoring program to medical students at the newly established U of T medical school (UTM campus).
