She obtained her Master of Physiotherapy degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, followed by a Master of Clinical Science in Advanced Healthcare Practice with a specialization in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Western University in London, ON, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).
Throughout her career, Lana has worked with a diverse range of athletes, from weekend warriors to elite competitors, addressing conditions such as sprains, strains, tendonitis, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Her approach combines manual therapy, targeted exercise, and education, empowering her clients to navigate their recoveries and return to the activities they love. She believes in a well-rounded approach, focusing not only on the injury, but also on optimizing overall movement patterns and preventing future injuries, aiming to provide the highest standard of care.
In addition to her clinical work, Lana maintains involvement in research and regularly engages in professional development to stay updated with the latest research and techniques in sports physiotherapy.
Outside of the clinic, Lana can be convinced to try almost any sport, and is often found playing tennis, taking classes at the local gym, or diving into her latest obsession – road cycling (most often to her favorite gelato spot).
